Invention Convention
Ceiba yearly runs the Invention Convention, headed by our own Ms. Raney. The invention convention consists of the 6th grade participating in a science project that will solve a problem or benefit the earth.

College and Career Readiness Notice
Annual notification for parents/guardians of students in grades 9-12 (California Education Code §51229)
Ceiba College Preparatory Academy is committed to preparing every student to graduate from a four-year college. This notice explains what students need to know about college admission requirements and career technical education, and how to get support.
College Admission Requirements
Admission to the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) requires completion of a specific sequence of high school courses, known as the "a-g" requirements, in the areas of history/social science, English, mathematics, science, language other than English, visual/performing arts, and college-preparatory electives. Ceiba's course of study is designed to help students complete these requirements by graduation.

Career Technical Education (CTE)
Career Technical Education (CTE) prepares students with academic and technical skills for college and career pathways by connecting classroom learning to real-world careers. Ceiba does not currently offer CTE courses directly. Students interested in CTE coursework can learn more about regional options, including through Regional Occupational Programs (ROP) or dual enrollment with local community colleges — see Ceiba's Dual Enrollment Process page for details.

Meeting With a Counselor
Students may meet with their school counselor at any time to select courses that satisfy college admission requirements or to ask about CTE and dual enrollment options in the community.
